ConnectShot Privacy Policy

ConnectShot is a mobile app provided by XYNX for recording clips with silhouette guides and exporting connected videos. This policy explains what information the ConnectShot app accesses and how it is used.

Information the app accesses

ConnectShot may request access to the camera, microphone, and photo or media library so you can record videos, take photos, import media, and save exported videos. These permissions are used only to provide the app's filming, editing, import, and export features.

Project and media files

Project metadata, clips, guide settings, and generated thumbnails are stored on your device. ConnectShot does not upload your project videos, photos, or edited exports to a ConnectShot or XYNX server.

Preferences

The app stores preferences such as theme, app skin, language, and camera settings on your device using local storage.

Analytics and crash reporting

The app code includes Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics support, but initialization may depend on the distributed build. When enabled, these services may collect diagnostic, usage, and crash information to improve app stability and quality.

Third-party services

ConnectShot may use third-party SDKs, including Firebase services. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

ConnectShot is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
