Moksu Privacy Policy

Moksu is a roof, rafter, gable, and hip roof calculator app for carpenters, provided by XYNX. This policy explains what information and permissions the app uses and how that information is handled.

Information stored by the app

Moksu may store calculation data on your device, including Run, Overhang, Seat, Angle, Rafter Size, roof type, unit settings, saved calculation names, and favorite status.

Saved calculations and favorites

Saved calculations and favorites are used only so you can reload common field setups later. The current app does not upload this calculation data to Moksu or XYNX servers.

Units, drawings, and 3D view

Drawings, 3D views, and calculation results are generated locally on your device from the values you enter. No account or server transfer is required for the core calculation workflow.

Pro features, in-app purchases, and invite codes

Moksu Pro may provide additional features such as 3D view, unlimited saved calculations, and favorites. Pro entitlement status, unlock method, and invite-code redemption status are stored locally on your device. In-app purchase payments, refunds, and receipt handling are processed by the app store or payment platform you use. Moksu does not directly collect your card number or payment account information.

App permissions

The current calculation features do not require camera, location, contacts, or microphone permissions. Future image export, PDF export, or file sharing features may request permissions only for the save or share action selected by the user.

Analytics and crash reporting

This policy is written for the current local-first calculator app. If a distribution build adds analytics or crash reporting SDKs, diagnostic information may be processed to improve app stability and quality, and this policy will be updated.

Third-party services

The calculation and saved-list features do not require a third-party server service. If you use in-app purchases, app stores, operating systems, or payment platforms may process information needed to handle the purchase, and that information is governed by those services' own policies.

Children's privacy

Moksu is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
